Gratos buys this gift for you from the retailer. The retailer may pay Gratos a commission.

What happens when you send a gift

  1. You ask. You tell Gratos who the gift is for and what you have in mind.
  2. Gratos finds options. It shows products from retailers it can buy from, at the retailer's own price. What a retailer pays us never affects which gifts we show you or the order we show them in.
  3. You approve. You see the product, the recipient, the delivery details and the total before you approve. Nothing is bought without your approval.
  4. Gratos places the order. It completes the purchase with the retailer, enters the delivery details and pays with your card through a one-time payment credential. Each order is placed only after you approve it.
  5. You get the confirmation. The retailer's order confirmation comes back to you in Gratos.

What Gratos does not do

  • It does not open affiliate links or set tracking cookies before you approve, and never during search or pricing.
  • It does not add coupons, cash-back or reward offers to an order.
  • It does not install a browser extension, toolbar or plug-in on your device.
  • It does not change the retailer's price.

About commissions

Some retailers pay a commission to the partner that brought them an order. When Gratos places an order with such a retailer, it may receive that commission. It is paid by the retailer, not by you, and it does not change the price or any Gratos fee. What a retailer pays us never affects which gifts we show you or the order we show them in. Our Privacy Policy describes what the retailer and the affiliate network receive about the order.
